#7 Upholster Your Headboard

 Upholstered headboards make a dramatic statement in the bedroom. They are very versatile and can be made with any material, pattern, or size. The headboard can be economically made with plywood and 2 X 4's in less than an hour. After attaching the board to the plywood to the desired height and size, wrap with foam and batting. Cover with the desired fabric and staple on the back. Decorative nail heads can be added by simply nailing the studs in place.
